Leonard Smith, III is an accomplished story strategist and documentarian with more than 40 years’ experience researching and documenting the histories of organizations and individuals. His documentary work has been honored with a number of awards including Best Documentary and Jury Audience Award at the New Orleans Black Film Festival; the Louisiana Heritage Media Award from the Louisiana Trust for Historic Preservation along with a number of Telly, AVA, Impact DOCS, Hermes and Communicator awards.
