John Claiborn – 74th Regiment U.S.C.T.

On the 11th day of June 1875, John Claiborn, a Private of Company G in the 74th Regiment U.S.C.T. father, Peter Claiborn, filed a Father or Mother’s claim for Bounty Money. John’s mother is dead according to Peter Claiborn. John died at St. John Baptist Parish on or about the fourth day of July 1870.
